Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty
At Chenoweth Ford, we believe confidence should continue long after the sale. That’s why eligible vehicles include Chenoweth For Life — a Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty designed to help protect the heart of your vehicle for as long as you own it.
This program helps protect key powertrain components, including the engine, transmission/transaxle/transfer case, and drive axle, subject to the terms, exclusions, conditions, and limitations of the actual limited warranty.
Eligible Vehicles
Chenoweth For Life applies to:
- New Ford vehicles purchased from Chenoweth Ford, unless otherwise excluded.
- Eligible pre-owned vehicles purchased from Chenoweth Ford that are still within the original 5-year/60,000-mile factory powertrain warranty period at the time of purchase, unless otherwise excluded.
Eligibility may vary by vehicle model, mileage, vehicle history, usage, and underwriting guidelines. Final eligibility is determined at the time of sale.
What Is Covered?
The Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty is designed to help protect major powertrain components, including:
Coverage may include internally lubricated engine components, cylinder head, engine block, engine mounts, oil pump, timing components, water pump, and other listed covered components.
Coverage may include internally lubricated parts contained within the transmission, transaxle, or transfer case housing, torque converter, case housings, transmission mounts, transfer case components, and other listed covered components.
Coverage may include internally lubricated parts contained within the axle housing, axle shafts, CV joints and boots, driveshafts, universal joints, four-wheel-drive engagement components, locking hubs, and other listed covered components.
Seals and gaskets are covered only when required in connection with the repair or replacement of a covered component.
Maintenance Requirements
To keep coverage in effect, the vehicle owner must follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule and retain maintenance records.
Chenoweth Ford offers factory-trained service, Quick Lane convenience, Ford Pickup & Delivery, service specials, and support after the sale to help customers keep their vehicle maintained properly.
Important Exclusions
Not every vehicle qualifies for Chenoweth For Life. Certain makes, models, vehicle types, vehicle conditions, and vehicle usages are excluded.
Examples of ineligible vehicles or uses may include, but are not limited to:
Exotic vehicles, racing vehicles, collectible vehicles, gray-market vehicles, kit vehicles, vehicles used for commercial purposes, taxi, livery, delivery, rental, emergency, police, or fire use, vehicles with branded or salvage titles, vehicles where the manufacturer has voided or rescinded the factory warranty, vehicles equipped with snow plows, tow truck equipment, cherry pickers, flat beds, dump beds, glider reconstruction, or modifications beyond manufacturer specifications.
